Dr. Mesheca C. Bunyon is a leader in optometry and office optimization coach who teaches other Optometrists, medical practices and health organizations on how to implement office optimization strategies. She helps to procure highly trained staff and gives strategies on what it takes to retain them as well, a challenge for most practices. Dr. Mesheca believes that doctors should focus on patient care and increasing revenue for their offices and not on staff-related issues. She offers assistance for creating important practice and staff documents, coaching for doctors and in-office and virtual workshops and retreats for practices. Her help enables doctors to have the dream team that they desire to have while creating a wonderful patient experience that patients enjoy returning to.

Dr. Mesheca is co-owner of Special Eye Care, a community based private Optometry practice and currently a staff doctor for Solomon Eye Physicians and Surgeons, both located in Prince George's County, Maryland. She volunteers with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and with the National Harbor Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated. Dr. Mesheca's greatest accomplishment is that of mother to two young sons, Micah and Madden and wife to fellow Doctor of Optometry Dr. Lamont Bunyon. Dr. Mesheca is a licensed and board-certified Doctor of Optometry who provides primary eye care to patients at Special Eye Care and at Solomon Eye Physicians in Prince George's County, Maryland. In her private practice, she enjoys seeing pediatric patients and is passionate about educating parents on the importance of children's vision as it relates to learning. At Solomon Eye Physicians, Dr. Mesheca specializes in ocular disease and pre and post-surgical ocular care. Dr. Mesheca is also available for urgent eye care needs and community vision screenings.
